Aku Ditahan Polis Kerana Bernama Muhammad

11 April,
Kami berlapan baru pulang dari Turkiye...

Selepas melepasi imigresen UK,
Saya melihat seorang daripada kami berlapan,
Seperti ditahan oleh seseorang...

Tiba-tiba,
Saya pon ditahan oleh seseorang,
Sambil memperkenalkan diri sebagai polis,
Dia berkata:

"We've been monitoring flight from outside UK and we noticed that there's a booking of 7 people with names associated to Muslim's names"

Dalam hati saya berkata:
"Ah, sudah. Aku gi jalan2 je kot dekat Turki"

Kemudian polis itu membawa saya masuk ke sebuah bilik,
Memang sebijik bilik siasatan macam dalam movie,
Selepas menjemput saya duduk,
Dia berkata:
"Don't worry, u have done nothing wrong. This is just a random check"

Lepas tu dye tanya,
Nama, alamat rumah, datang uk buat ape, belajar kat mane, belajar ape....
Mak dengan ayah mane, kerja ape......
Dengan standard soalan tipikal:
"Why don't u study in Nottingham Malaysia Campus?"

Jawapan tipikal:
"The government paid my study and they send me here"

Okla, tukar sikit jawapan sebab ada orang kata bukan duit kerajaan, duit rakyat
"The people of Malaysia paid my study and they send me here"

Ha, semua scholar rakyat Malaysia,
Baik belajar betul2,
Ada amanah dari 28 juta orang...

Kembali pada cerita polis tadi,
Dye tanya cukup ke duit scholarship,
"It's more than enough. That's why we can go to Turki for a holiday"

Dye tanya lagi buat apa sampai 9 hari dekat Turki,
Saya pon bagi la tentatif perjalanan..
"First, we went to Cappadocia, Konya, Pamukkale and finally Istanbul.

Polis: What did u do in Cappadocia?
Akmal: We went there to see some weird looking mountains.

Cappadocia

Polis tu ada jugak tanya,
Saya sembahyang ke tak, saya pergi masjid ke tak,
Masjid tu dekat mane, pergi masjid buat ape,
Sambil-sambil tu dye membelek passport saya,
Tiba-tiba polis itu ternampak visa umrah saya di dalam passport,

Polis: What is this?
Akmal: Oh, this is my visa for umrah.
(Dengan anggapan polis tidak faham apa itu umrah. Saya mengulangi jawapan dengan sedikit perbezaan)

Akmal: This is my pilgrimage visa. But this is just the small one (cuba menerangkan umrah)
Polis: Oh, how was it?
Akmal: It was fun but the weather was hot.
Polis: Wasn't it hot in Malaysia?
Akmal: Yea, but this is hotter.
Polis: How long were u there?
Akmal: 10 days
Polis: When are u planning to do the pilgrimage then?
Akmal: Not in the near future, it would cost me nearly 2500 pound for that. I've wasted a lot of money in Istanbul.
Polis dan Akmal bergelak ketawa

Banyak lagi yang polis tu tanya,
Tapi saya dah tak ingat,
Last sekali polis tu kata:

"I'm sorry i have to do this to you. But we have to do this because muslim were associated to terrorist and we have to be aware to any kind of threat"

Saya pon mencelah:
"But muslim are not terrorist"

Polis: Yes, but some bad muslim give Islam a bad name. Anyway, nice talking to a wise young man like you. Hope that u'll excel in ur studies and i hope u understand why are we doing this.

Pasal ni satu lagi kami kena tahan, semua pakai baju sama

=)
